Howard French currently serves as the Chief Customer Officer of Iscential Inc. headquartered in Houston, TX.

Howard French started with American General’s VALIC in 1995. In 1998 he was promoted and moved to the American General Life Company. In 2001 Howard assumed responsibility for all of American General’s Helpdesk and Desktop Support teams as Director of Desktop Services. When AIG purchased American General in 2001, Howard’s group eventually took over all Desktop Support for the corporation, controlling over 80,000 systems.

In 2006 Howard left AIG and took a year off. During that year Howard decided he wanted to get back into the insurance industry but this time he would work on the side he previously supported and opened his first agency in Houston for Iscential, then Barhorst Insurance Group in 2007. Howard built the agency and in 2010, moved to the Virginia area of Washington, D.C., and started working on another scratch agency.

In 2014 Warren asked Howard to begin the Virtual Sales Team for Iscential with an emphasis on Commercial Insurance. After two short years Howard was promoted to managing the Commercial Sales and Support department for Iscential. In late 2017, Howard was promoted to Chief Customer Officer and now shoulder’s all of Iscential’ s Support and Service departments driving a cohesive philosophy responsible for all client-facing interactions and customer experience.
